About Bordertown, season 1 episode 7 The Fury, I didn’t get to see the climax, the fight between Lena and the rabid dog(s). She wanted more attention from her father, and she worried about her mother’s health, but wasn’t disruptive in the family the way some teens are.The most important of the cops, at least to me, was kickass Lena Jaakkola (Anu Sinisalo). There were gaps in the action – not often, but in a mystery where everything is a factor you notice things like that.I liked the subtle foreshadowing. There were 11 episodes in season 1. The memories of nasty crimes in the city haunt him. Suddenly Kari and the cops arrive and we see Lena punching the boxing club guy in the face. (There are abused women and abused dogs everywhere!)
Then there’s the rape scene with the politician and her husband. The Fury (Part 1) The team investigates a Europol tip on a dog fighting ring, and Hannu-Pekka asks Kari for help after his date with an escort takes an alarming turn. As others have noted, there are mystifying gaps that never get filled in, e.g., the killer dog was apparently an extra. Did the victim who took her life by stepping in front of a train happen in the earlier timeline? There was some nudity, especially the many corpses in this noir drama. At the end of the episode, the scene with the dead child and her mom hidden in a secret room was played out in the very first episode. Experienced Detective Sorjonen wants to leave the big city to spend more time with his wife and teen-aged daughter. 1. A reporter begins digging into Sorjonen's past. At the party, an uncomfortable scene unfold. My personal feeling was that he was mildly autistic. Pauliina moves ahead with her secret plan. The End Game (Part 1) Sorjonen's worlds collide when Janina wakes up spattered in blood and finds herself at the center of a murder investigation. A politician asked Taina for a favor. Help.Anyone have any ideas that can help Harry fill in the missing bits?I’m late to this series. Post was not sent - check your email addresses! and the Star Trek Energizer begins to look like a possibility. How was she able to defeat the boxing club owner? Pauliina moves ahead with her secret plan. Season 1 takes place in summer, but according to this article (in Finnish) There were a couple of cliffhangers and surprises at the end of season 1, but Netflix has season 2 already lined up, so you can forge ahead with your binge. This review is only about season 1.Ville Virtanen plays Sorjonen as odd and full of strange mannerisms. “The Doll’s House” episodes dealt with abused and kidnapped young women. The Finns seem to have a fixation with sex-imbued scenes. I find her character uninteresting and generally unlikeable.I’m enjoying season one now. The Dolls' House (Part 2) While Sorjonen and team inspect the new crime scene, Katia's mother searches for clues at the resort. With Ville Virtanen Matleen… Lena’s about to fight the dog(s) with her daughter forced to watch. I’m enjoying season 1 — except for Kari’s wife, Pauliina.
Suddenly Kari and the cops arrive and we see Lena punching the boxing club guy in the face. I haven’t seen the second season yet. This is after the fight with the dogs, the climax really, that I didn’t get to see, and Lena and her daughter are rescued. Even so, she wanted to find a job and be productive again.Janina was a good teenager. What happened between Lena and the dogs? Release year: 2016. Coroners, politicians, doctors, other cops, and a plethora of bad guys filled out the cast. Each crime took multiple episodes.
We gave up. The End Game (Part 2) Desperate to clear Janina's name, Sorjonen races to piece together fragments from different crime scenes and catch the suspected killer off guard. Kari is remembering previous crimes he worked. These two have interesting subplots throughout, one of which ends with the climactic final crime.Others in the police department included the boss Taina (Kristiina Halttu) and another investigator Niko (Ilkka Villi). The characters of Kari and Lena can’t support the first season by themselves. Dragonflies (Part 1) As Sorjonen investigates the suspicious death of a drug squad officer, Janina is drawn into a circle of teens planning an epic, drug-fueled party. Was there different timelines in Season 3 Episode 1?
