Fan account of abstract artist Aleksandra Ekster. Aleksandra Ekster is the artist of Futurism art movement. She was a multi talented artist - a painter, ceramist, graphic artist, clothes designer. And the lifespan of this artist is 18 January 1882-17 March 1949. There she met some of her future comrades in the struggle for Russian New Art: In 1908 Ekster began exhibiting her works, first in Kiev and then in St. Petersburg in the “Exhibition of New Currents.” That same year, together with Ekster’s most productive period was from the mid-1910s to the beginning of the 1920s. She spent several months with her husband in Paris, and there she attended Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Montparnasse. Her father, Aleksandr Grigorovich, was a wealthy Belarusian businessman. Her mother was Greek.
