We maintain over one hundred acres of corn, sorghum, alfalfa, and native grasses to offer great bird hunting in natural surroundings. Travel 1.7 miles to 5 way intersection. I'd give this place ten stars if I could. My husband and his friend had so much fun on the Sporting Clays Course that they are already planning another trip out there and will be bringing more people. Plenty of parking. Had a chili dog in their restaurant which was okay.Great place to shoot clays!
83 to PA. Exit Exit 4 (old exit 1), Shrewsbury. We only allow one hunting party on the farm at a time, therefore you get a private hunting experience every time. Located 18 miles North of Pittsburgh. They do an excellent job hosting events such as this with clay shooting followed by great food and usually a raffle or two. Birds Landing Preserve and Sporting Clays was a great find. Went for the 1st time last week not knowing anything about Sporting Clays but what i've seen on youTube. We have 200 acres of diverse woodland and fields managed for both the hunter and wildlife. Our fields offer a wide selection of habitats that will provide an enjoyable experience for both the beginning hunter and dog or the advanced hunter seeking a challenging hunt. I did bring my own for both but good to know that they have you covered on all fronts!Like their website says, Birds Landing Hunting Preserve is like golf but with shotguns. We didn't know what we were walking into when we first got here but immediately Don and the staff were very hospitable and showed great customer service. The scenery is really nice and we shot on the back (short) course. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean and well maintained.
We have 2 sporting clays courses, a 5-stand for the clays and a wobble trap. We now have two farms setup to handle pass shooting similiar to European Shoots where the birds are driven.
